This is an opportunity for a leading built environment and energy as a service organization, leading their operations based out of Seattle Washington. Addressing the climate crisis through improvements to energy efficiency within buildings.

We are looking for a Business Development Director to lead a team of 6 Sales Associates across the Seattle region.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience managing a team of sales professionals, selling energy as a service into Municipalities, Universities, Hospitals and Schools
• Extensive years in the MUSH market across Seattle

This role will consist of:

• Lead and manage every aspect of the development process, along with entitlement, partnerships, environmental impact, financial and technical
• Gain necessary financing, from a variety of sources, investors, grants, banks etc.
• Aid sales policies and review compliance
• Coach and develop sales associates within the team, through class room training as well as shadowing at meetings - overseeing relationships with clients
• Lead collaboration with other business units to ensure the successful execution of the sales process
