THE ROLE:
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, M&A
You’re the tip of the spear for Ugentic’s acquisition strategy.
Your job is to hunt , qualify, and negotiate deals with founder-led AI and service businesses across the U.S. and globally. You’ll own everything from pipeline generation to signed LOI, then pass the baton to our internal execution team to close and integrate.
You need to live and breathe M&A. You should be comfortable doing 10 to 20 founder calls a week, crafting win-win deal structures, and pushing deals through ambiguity and egos. Given our plans to possibly go public as early as 18-24 months from now, we need to be aggressive in our acquisitions and investments to accrue the ARR needed.
This is not a sourcing analyst role - it’s high-leverage origination plus high-trust negotiation.
