Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.

Min = $90,758.62

Mid = $117,986.20

Max = $145,213.79

Summary:

The Director of Provider Administration and Relations will be responsible for leading the strategic growth initiatives for the medical group, while enhancing partnerships with providers. The Director will serve as the primary Provider liaison for the organization, fostering growth in relationships with existing providers as well as seeking to establish new relationships within, as well as outside our community of influence.

Responsibilities:

Develops and manages strategies to retain physicians and advanced practice professionals in the community and hospital.

Continues to evaluate and advocate the requests/needs of the YRMC Medical group. Fosters relationships between providers, hospital administration and staff.

Designs/oversees the provider engagement activities, such as town halls, social/networking events, awards/recognition banquets and partnering with other areas for provider well-being initiatives.

Leads staff in developing improvements and standard process (work) across the recruitment and relations department.

Serves in a consultative capacity to the leadership, service line directors and physician leaders of YRMC’s various business units.

Oversight of full-cycle provider immigration processing, from initial filing through to the issuance of the permanent green card, including the update of the ADHS employer portal for electronic submission of all services sites, encounters and provider data.

Directs new physician and APP on boarding, electronic health record training (inpatient and outpatient), medical staff orientation including internal leadership connections, additional training and regulatory requirements, and professional photo and video session for new physicians.

Coordinates with hospital marketing department in the development of all new physician-marketing plans – introductions, media promotion, welcome flyers and speaking engagements.

Delegates responsibility to support staff and supervises the progress of assigned tasks.

Monitor outcomes and participates in performance improvement activities
