Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term planning of our 2 aerospace manufacturing facilities. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a strong background in project management, vendor coordination, and facilities operations. You will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts using SAP.
  • Oversee procurement and payment systems for facility-related services and supplies.
  • Schedule and supervise plumbers, handymen, and other maintenance personnel for 2 facilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Work with suppliers and contractors to meet safety requirements.
  • Address and resolve any facility-related issues that arise in the office.
  • Maintain a clean, functional, and professional work environment.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in Facilities Management or Project Management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • familiarity with SAP for vendor and payment management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
  • Reliable transportation is required for occasional off-site visits or errands.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) is a plus.
  • Certification in project management (PMP) or facilities management (FMP, CFM) is a plus.

Compensation:

$30/hr to $40/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
