Job Description

OneSparQ is looking for a Forman in Des Moines, IA.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of commercial roofing
• Experience with overseeing construction projects and individuals
• Skilled in flat/low-slope roof, EPDM, TPO, PVC, & metal
• Experienced in patch repairs and installation

Additional Skills: (not required)

• OSHA certification: 10, 30, or 50

Responsibilities:

• Safety meeting everyday with the crew, Sales Rep, and customer.
• Check tools, equipment, and surroundings for safety and fill out a safety form.
• Connect with everyone before the project starts: the Sales Rep (about the schedule), the crew (about the work), the customer (before, during, and after the job), and the Supervisor (about updates or changes).
• Manage the job site: keeping track of work hours, making sure tools and materials are ready, and completing the job.
• At the end of the day/project: check the work, fix any issues, and send updates (including before/after photos and what was done) to the Sales Rep on internal software.
• Take care of inventory by ordering, tracking, and doing regular checks
