Job Description

Job Title: HR Assistant

Location: Iselin, NJ

Job Type: Contract (4–6 Months)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, reporting, and file maintenance
  • Manage and update HR records, spreadsheets, and databases using advanced Excel functions
  • Perform VLOOKUPs and generate reports to assist with employee data analysis and HR metrics
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Assist with benefits administration and other HR initiatives
  • Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, and handle HR-related inquiries
  • Utilize HR systems such as SuccessFactors (if applicable) for employee recordkeeping and updates

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR administrative or assistant role
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Experience with HRIS platforms; SuccessFactors experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
