Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Administrator / HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is critical in protecting our business by supporting our contractual obligations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, and growing our business by supporting our internal HR operations and helping keep our employees engaged. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, a master of multitasking, and thrives in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Principal Responsibilities:

Contract Administration (~50%):

  • Draft, review, and manage contracts with customers, vendors, and subcontractors, including various insurance contracts
  • Ensure all contracts comply with legal and company requirements
  • Collaborate with commercial, operational, and administrative functions to support all aspects of the business; this includes working with strategic Parent company resources as well.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all contractual documents
  • Support bid preparation, RFP responses, and contract negotiations.

Human Resources Generalist (~50%)

  • Serve as the point of contact for employee relations, addressing day-to-day HR issues.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, interviewing, and on-boarding
  • Administer HR programs such as benefits, leave management, performance reviews, talent reviews, and training.
  • Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Support culture building initiative and employee engagement
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with strategic HR resources at Parent company and complete required reports, events, communications, etc. as needed

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate degree and/or relevant functional experience, SHRM designation and/or similar and/or desire to pursue highly beneficial

Required Skills and Experiences

  • 2+ years experience as a paralegal or attorney
  • Familiarity with business contracts / contract law
  • Highly confidential and trustworthy
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving skills, and communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • In addition to a foundation of ethical behavior and a focus on safety, candidate must demonstrate the following behaviors / attitudes:
