Job Description

**UNION NEGOTIATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**

A well-established and growing organization is seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Manager. This individual will oversee all core HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, benefits, training, and safety. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in unionized environments, HR systems, OSHA compliance, and cross-functional team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead HR department operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Oversee HR policies and programs covering employee relations, recruiting, training, payroll, benefits, and compliance.
  • Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, training, performance reviews, and offboarding.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and workplace safety by partnering with safety personnel and conducting audits.
  • Maintain relationships with union representatives, handling grievance procedures, arbitration, and CBA administration.
  • Implement cost-effective talent acquisition strategies and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Communicate HR initiatives, policy changes, and benefit updates to staff.
  • Maintain data confidentiality and ensure regulatory compliance across all HR systems and processes.
  • Oversee benefit open enrollment and manage payroll through ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, including union and non-union environments.
  • Proven ability to manage HR functions, labor relations, and safety programs.
  • Strong understanding of collective bargaining agreements and labor law.
  • Proficiency in OSHA regulations and ADP Workforce Now.
