The New York State Unified Court System is hiring for one (1) position in the Internal Auditor Series. The position will be filled in one of the following titles and will be dependent on the qualifications of the applicant selected: Internal Auditor or Assistant Internal Auditor.
Key Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for conducting financial, operational and information system audits of courts, agencies, or programs within the Unified Court System. Overnight travel throughout New York State is required.
Qualifications:
Internal Auditor: One year in the Assistant Internal Auditor title; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 24 credit hours in accounting and three (3) years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Base Salary: $84,659
Assistant Internal Auditor: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 24 credit hours in accounting and two (2) years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university and one year of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience. Base Salary: $76,112
