College Park Academy (CPA), an innovative public charter school in the Washington, DC, Metropolitan area is inviting passionate educators to join its dedicated team. Founded in 2013 through a partnership among the Prince George's County School District, the University of Maryland (UMD), and the City of College Park, CPA provide quality education primarily to children of color and economically disadvantaged students from Prince George’s County. The big picture:

You’ll lead instruction in mathematics, planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet diverse student needs. You’ll foster a safe, inclusive learning space and ensure students hit — and exceed — academic benchmarks.

  • Design and deliver engaging, standards-based math lessons
  • Inspire students through clear instruction, fun activities, and real-world connections
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction to support success
  • Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and leadership to support each learner
  • Create a disciplined, respectful, and engaging classroom culture
  • Embrace tech, diversity, and innovation in your teaching approach

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s in Education or related field (required)
  • Eligible for Maryland teaching certification
  • Strong instructional skills and a growth mindset
  • Excellent communication and classroom management
  • Passion for multicultural and inclusive education
