Our client, an Am Law 100 firm with a nationally recognised Real Estate Practice, is seeking a Real Estate Associate with a focus on commercial leasing to join their Fort Lauderdale office. The group represents some of the most sophisticated players in the real estate market and provides full-service counsel across all asset classes. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about real estate law and wants to work on complex, high-value transactions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Represent landlords and tenants in drafting and negotiating commercial leases for office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use properties.
• Support real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects.
• Work with national and regional clients across various real estate sectors, including healthcare, hospitality, and renewable energy.
• Conduct due diligence and manage deal flow from initial negotiations through closing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and litigation, to deliver comprehensive client service.
• Stay abreast of real estate trends and legislative developments that impact clients.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Florida (or ability to waive in).
• 3–6 years of real estate experience, with a strong emphasis on commercial leasing.
• Experience representing sophisticated clients in multi-asset transactions preferred.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong academic credentials and a commitment to client service.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
