R&D Engineer:

The R&D Engineer will participate in the product design, development or improvement process during the prototype testing and other testing phases. This role will act as a reference in their field of activity, by creating and maintaining standard test protocols (RES), with respect to product specifications and changes in standards, in line with quality, cost, delivery, human resources, safety, environment, objectives and corporate values.

Missions and Responsibilities:

• Set up testing procedures by defining and finalizing how measurements and tests will be done, with help from the test manager.
• Identify failures by predicting and investigating any failures that might happen during the product's life, study potential hazards, and make recommendations.
• Perform tests and calculate reliability.
• Monitor test contracts given to third parties.
• Develop and enhance test methods and procedures.
• Examine deviations from product specifications and suggest fixes.
• Create and improve endurance test benches according to current standards.
• Keep test protocols and acceptance criteria up to date with current standards and technological developments.
• Continuously improving testing processes, including investing in equipment and enhancing IT interfaces.
• Train test technicians and write test procedures.
• Receive, check, and identify parts for assembly.
• Assemble subassemblies or the machine to perform necessary tests.
• Propose improvements or solutions to problems.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and/or mechanics
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with off-road machinery (with hydraulic circuit, stress gauges, and electric circuit measurement)
• A valid driver’s license
• No fear of heights
