Summary

We are looking for a talented Senior Corporate Paralegal who has experience with real estate transactions, contracts, and agreements. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of corporate law, have exceptional communication skills with a keen eye for detail. This role requires a high level of organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record of excellence in legal document preparation and review.

This position offers a hybrid schedule with the possibility of additional required in-office days depending on business needs.

Job Description

  • Assist in Attorneys in real estate transactions, including due diligence, preparation of contracts, leases, and closing documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to corporate law.
  • Prepare builder drawls, handle seller closings, and manage simple refinances.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret contracts and legal documents to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Attend contract meetings and collaborate with attorneys, clients, and other parties to ensure smooth and efficient transaction processes.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date files and databases related to all real estate transactions.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to attorneys and senior management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and firm matters.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in real estate law and industry trends.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience as a Real Estate or Corporate Paralegal or a similar role in the legal industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of real estate law, corporate law, and legal principles.
  • Proven experience in builder draws, seller closings, and simple refinances.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in legal document preparation and contract review.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Experience in contract drafting as well as contract review.
