Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst IV
Location: Onsite – Fremont, CA (Bay Area)
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analyst IV to lead and manage global asset management and logistics operations. This role will focus on optimizing inventory planning, supplier performance, pricing analysis, and process automation. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in supply chain management with a strong analytical mindset and experience in fast-paced technical environments such as data centers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and continuous improvement of inventory planning and logistics processes.
Evaluate and optimize supplier relationships based on cost, quality, availability, and support.
Conduct supply-demand, inventory, and pricing analysis across various commodities.
Manage the end-to-end global asset management process and related systems.
Define, track, and analyze supply chain metrics to drive product and process improvements.
Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to automate supply chain processes.
Foster cross-functional relationships with internal decision-makers and external vendors.
Oversee procurement processes including purchase approvals, vendor bids, and contract negotiations.
Guide staff in resolving issues related to delivery delays or product quality.
Administer supplier/vendor contracts and ensure compliance with procurement standards.
Work with teams to identify and resolve issues with defective or non-compliant goods/services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Advanced negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Expert in analyzing financial reports, supplier data, and technical documentation.
Proficient in documenting and managing customer/client information.
Deep knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; comfort with data-heavy tasks.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently while leading cross-functional projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in datacenter environments or infrastructure-heavy supply chains.
Engineering background or technical acumen to better understand complex supply processes.
Familiarity with procurement regulations and applicable compliance standards.
Prior leadership experience or mentoring capabilities in a team setting.
