Founded in 2019, Optillusion Games is a studio dedicated to exploring the limitless possibilities of gaming. Building on the success of our first title, Moncage, we recently launched While Waiting. Our team is passionate about experimenting with fresh, innovative ideas, and we are now exploring multiplayer games and AI-native games to bring new horizons to the industry.

Role Description

As a Technical Designer, your responsibilities include quickly prototyping and iterating on new ideas, creating clear and concise design documentation, collaborating closely with engineering to align on technical requirements, and refining gameplay elements to deliver a polished and engaging player experience.

Qualifications

-Must-Haves

• Have proficient knowledge of Unity engine and Unity C# scripts.
• Have solid understandings of game mechanics and game feelings, such as UI/UX, polished feedback, fun gameplay etc.
• Have good aesthetics with close attention to details.
• Have experience in level design and game development.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be passionate about indie games and a highly motivated self-starter.
• Have minimum bachelor’s degrees and 2+ years of work experience.
• Always want to build something innovative and unique.

• Have experience in narrative design.
• Have experience in survival game design.
• Have coding background.
• Have a thorough understanding of Unity's 3D rendering pipeline.
• Have a strong interest in AI and be proficient in using various AI tools.
