SUMMARY

The Capital Campaign Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of a comprehensive fundraising campaign. The successful candidate will work closely with the development department, campaign steering committee, senior leadership, and various stakeholders to facilitate the campaign's success. This position serves as a project manager – supporting the front-line fundraisers in preparing for campaign asks and acknowledgements, reporting out on campaign progress, and preparing meeting agendas and materials. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills. We anticipate this role to be active through campaign completion, estimated to be a minimum of three years.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in developing strategies for donor cultivation and solicitations for individuals, corporations, and foundations.
  • Create timelines, milestones, and benchmarks for the campaign and track these against milestones with key stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between the campaign committee and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular meetings, provide updates, and coordinate efforts to maximize the committee’s impact.
  • Manage and update campaign reports and tracking tools with support from collaborators to maintain accurate and up-to-date donor databases while ensuring data integrity.
  • Analyze fundraising data to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Coordinate and execute campaign-related events, including receptions and outreach activities.
  • Manage donor engagement activities and prepare both staff and volunteer leadership for meetings with campaign donors, including conducting research, scheduling meetings, creating documents, and briefing meeting attendees.
  • Create and implement a campaign stewardship plan to acknowledge, thank, and celebrate campaign gifts.
  • Provide administrative support to the campaign advancement committee, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting discussions.
  • Assist in managing the capital campaign budget and monitor progress towards mutually agreed upon financial and performance goals.
  • Evaluate campaign direction and execution through a lens of Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility. Fluency in connecting PNB’s I.D.E.A. principals to the goals of the Capital Campaign.
  • Represent the campaign at PNB performances, events, and other opportunities in the community.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years related experience in fundraising, campaign coordination, or donor relations within the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong understanding of fundraising principles, strategies, and best practices
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with grace and humor.
  • Proven capacity to independently identify project needs, initiate necessary steps and proactively seek solutions to overcome obstacles and barriers to meet objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to write and speak clearly and persuasively about the mission and goals of the campaign.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in Tessitura preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the evolving needs and dynamics of the campaign.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive donor information.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and special events on occasion.

SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Serve as a loyal advocate for PNB and the Capital Campaign, internally and externally.
  • Effectively facilitate the work of the Campaign. .
  • Offer support, materials, and guidance to front-line staff and Trustee fundraisers to secure contributed revenue for the Campaign.
  • Personally model behaviors which promote excellent donor relations.
  • Solve problems, resolve issues and demonstrate tact and diplomacy in all interactions.

Pay Range : $70,000 - $75,000/year; Salaried, Exempt
